An energy audit is a comprehensive home assessment of a house using the "House as a System" approach to finding areas of potential energy savings along with identifying health and safety issues.
Residential Energy Audits for up to 4 Unit houses are FREE TO THE HOMEOWNER due to NYSERDA Rebates that cover the cost of most audits.
Once the audit is complete and you receive your comprehensive home assessment then we are able to discuss the steps you can take to improve the energy efficiency of your home. There are many rebates and competitive financing opportunities that homeowners can take advantage of as part of this program.

PSEG Rebates Available for qualifying customers.
HEMI (NYSERDA) Rebates Available up to 10% of work costs. Available to all customer on approved measures when work is completed in conjunction with a comprehensive home analysis energy audit. Not to be combined with other rebates.
Assisted Home Performance (NYSERDA) Rebates Available up to 50% of work costs up to $5,000.00. For Income eligible customers only on approved measures.

On-Bill Financing - Save more money on your utility energy savings from your heating and electric bills than the work will cost you monthly. Payments based on your savings to keep the monthly costs lower than your monthly savings. Interest Rate of 3.49% for qualified customers. A positive return overall with no resulting out of pocket costs. (Based on savings estimates that cannot be guaranteed)
Long Island Green Homes - Available to Town of Babylon residents only. Finance work based on your savings at 3% interest on qualified projects.
